Abstract

The fingerprint unlock system with Arduino is the system that is installed on the door to increase the protection of the protected area. The fingerprint unlock system with Arduino uses a fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth module, keypad, LCD, and sanitising system to ensure safe access for protection. This system features a fingerprint scanner of the AS608 fingerprint reader sensor module that allows authorized individuals to unlock the door using fingerprints, a Bluetooth module of the HC-05 for remote access control using apps of Bluetooth Smart Lock, a 4x4 keypad for PIN entry, and a 16x2 LCD screen to display information like access logs. The sanitising system is an additional feature that uses the water pump to pump the sanitizer to disinfect the hands of the user when the user holds the handle of the door. This can help reduce the risk of germs and viruses spreading. This fingerprint unlock system with Arduino uses two Arduino Uno R3 to function, one Arduino Uno R3 to control the function of the fingerprint unlock system and the other to control the function of the additional feature of sanitising the system. This system used two 9V battery to function the Arduino Uno R3 and a 12V battery to function the solenoid door lock. With this device, users can enjoy a high level of security and hygiene when accessing their protected area.
