Abstract
One-Piece Manufacturing Individualization Solution (OMIS) is an automated manufacturing line for producing customised mixed juices. This particular OMIS manufacturing line is currently located in the East Campus of Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TARUMT) at SE008. The OMIS manufacturing line able to operate with minimum manpower to complete loading, filling, capping, printing and packaging. However, the OMIS manufacturing line stations are lacked of operating time recording feature. Without operating time recording feature, the operations of OMIS production line are unable to be monitored and supervised for performance reviewed. Therefore, this project proposes a solution to solve the OMIS manufacturing line issue which is lacking of time capturing feature. The proposed solution is cost-effective and history trackable to show the availability and performance of OMIS production line for further improvement by create a cloud-based IIoT system using infrared sensors, raspberry pi Model 4B, Node-RED, MySQL WorkBench, Microsoft Azure, and Remote-RED. Overall Equipment Effectiveness of OMIS manufacturing line was calculated according to the 60 sets data captured by cloud-based IIoT system proposed.
