Abstract

A complete home security system, the "Alarm system for home security with arduino controller" project combines a number of parts to offer an efficient and cost-effective way to secure a door. A keypad for input, a GSM module (SIM800L) for remote control, and an alarm for notification are all controlled by the system’s central control unit, an Arduino microcontroller. Users can verify themselves by entering a security code into the keypad to unlock the door. The GSM module may send SMS notifications to users’ mobile phones alerting them to the door lock’s status. The system also has an alarm that may be triggered in cases of unauthorised access or tampering, notifying the user and perhaps causing further actions. The Arduino microcontroller acts as the system’s brain, processing keypad input, controlling alarm functionality, operating the door lock, and connecting with the GSM module. The aim of the project is to increase home security in an affordable and effective manner by giving consumers a dependable way to lock their door and alerts about possible security breaches. The "Alarm system for home security with arduino controller" project is appropriate for residential settings that want to add an extra layer of security, giving them peace of mind and safeguarding their belongings and loved ones.
