Abstract

A conventional car roof rack is a great accessory to add on to a vehicle for extra storage space , but almost all of the conventional car roof racks serve with one and only purpose that is to provide extra storage space. In this project , A conventional car roof rack will be innovated by installing a few extra features like an automated water sprinkler, automated LED light and Automated Hazard detection device and transform into a smart car roof rack. A smart car roof rack with an automated water sprinkler, automated LED light and Automated Hazard detection device would bring significantly more benefits to the vehicle’s owner compared to a conventional car roof car. For example, the automated LED light that will be included in the smart car roof rack , will automatically light up when the surrounding environment of the vehicles has become dark and poorly lit to provide extra light source for the driver other than the vehicle’s headlights , this will ensure the driver has enough vision at the road condition in front the vehicles and avoid obstacles like pot hole ,rock or debris and preventing a accident from happening.
