Abstract
This study details the use of Arduino and Node-RED to construct a real-time monitoring system for the OMIS production line. The initiative tackles the shortcomings of conventional manual data collection techniques, which frequently lead to imprecise data and protracted decisionmaking. In order to increase operational efficiency, the goal is to automate data gathering, facilitate hardware-software connection, and enable real-time production monitoring. In order to collect production data, the system combines Arduino boards and infrared sensors, and Node-RED acts as a communication link between the hardware and cloud storage. With the help of the ESP8266 module and Mosquitto MQTT, data is controlled and transmitted over Wi-Fi, good for compact spaces due to the wireless connection between them. After that, Firebase will be used to analyse and store the data for later analysis and visualisation.
