Abstract
This project addresses the challenge faced by busy plant owners, particularly those away from home for extended periods, whose plants often suffer from inconsistent watering. It presents the design, prototyping, and testing of a cost-effective, automated plant watering system that operates on a pre-programmed, timer-based cycle. The system is controlled by an ESP32 microcontroller, which uses a relay module to safely switch a 6V DC pump and deliver a consistent volume of water. Prototyping and testing were successfully conducted, establishing an average volume flow rate of 4.18 × 10−6
