Abstract

Evaporator is an application of thermal separation which is widely used in food and beverage industry. However, Single stage evaporator is not efficiency in term of steam consumption as the vapour produced is direct cooled down in condenser. As such, two possible of the methods are found to utilize the use of steam by vapour compression and increasing number of evaporator, multi-stage evaporator. By using MATLAB SIMULINK, the dynamics model has been solved as well the results had been analyzed.
