Abstract

This project presents the design and development of a smart portable table fan that integrates automatic control, portable, and enhanced cooling features. The system is developed using an Arduino UNO R4 WiFi, a BLDC motor with an Electronic Speed Controller (ESC), a DHT22 temperature and humidity sensor, a misting module, a LiPo battery pack, and an OLED display. The proposed system aims to address the limitations of conventional cooling solutions and reduce the use of energy consuming air conditioners by providing improved cooling performance while maintaining energy efficiency and portability. The fan speed and mist operation are automatically adjusted based on environmental conditions, enhancing user comfort through a closed-loop control system. In addition, IoT functionality is implemented using the Blynk platform, allowing real-time monitoring and remote control via a mobile application. The systemwas developed through a structured process involving component testing, system integration, and prototype fabrication. Experimental results demonstrated that the system is capable of responding dynamically to changes in temperature and humidity, while the misting feature improves the perceived cooling effect. Overall, the smart portable table fan offers a practical and energy-efficient alternative to conventional cooling methods. The project contributes to the development of user-friendly and sustainable IoT-based appliances
