Abstract
This project presents the design and development of a smart water dispenser system aimed at improving user convenience, safety and temperature control in household applications. Traditional water dispensers often lack precise temperature regulation and advanced automation features which is needed to be upgrade by implementing a more intelligent system. The proposed system is developed using an ESP32 microcontroller as the main controller. The system integrates multiple subsystems including a thermoelectric cooler (TEC) with PID control for cold water, an AC heating band with thermostat control for hot water and also a pump-based fluid management system using solenoid valves. For the temperature sensing, it achieved by using DS18B20 sensors while user interaction is implemented through touch sensors, LCD display and a rotary encoder. The system is capable of providing cold, room-temperature and hot water with improved control accuracy and safety features. The final experimental results show that the TEC cooling system is suitable for prototype implementation but has limitations when handling large water volumes. The heating system demonstrates fast response and practical usability. Overall, the developed system demonstrates a functional and integrated approach to smart water dispensing with potential for further improvement in real-world applications
