Abstract
This project involves the design and development of an IoT-based drip irrigation system aimed at addressing inefficiencies in traditional irrigation methods. This project addresses the inefficiencies faced by users who use conventional irrigation. The main objective is to develop a user-friendly IoT-enabled irrigation system that integrates soil moisture, temperature, and humidity sensors with a microcontroller to enable remote monitoring of the plant’s ambient conditions, adjust moisture thresholds, and control the system’s actuator. This reduces the wastage of water by preventing over-watering and also provides the plant with an optimal living environment at all times. It also reduces the need for the user to be on-site to know the environment of the plant; instead, the data could all be seen on an IoT dashboard
