This project, the author had completed design and fabricate machine for recycle can. In the point of education academic view, this is a brand new idea in TARCollege that never been done by any TARCollege student in the past 42 years. Besides, this idea has high potential market and commercializes value. The author used YVPLSolf to programme PLC, MP LAB to programme RFID and SolidWorks to draw the design. Besides, the author has reviewed several types of vending machine existing in market. In addition, the sequential logic for vending machine was also studied. In this project, the author used motor, sensors, PLC,WPLSolf, pneumatic cylinders, solenoid valves, manifold, RFID and MPLAB to fabricate the reverse vending machine from draft until fabrication completed. Trouble shoots of prototype has been carried out in order to improve and modify to work better. During trouble shooting, the author recorded down the raw data as well as the analysed result. Some modification for the prototype has been done such as angle of can holder and compressor pressure. After that, the calculation for motor balancing and force to compress the aluminium can to ensure the motor are balanced. The sequential mechanism how the reversed vending machine operates was reported in the dissertation. Some recommendations for further improvement were discussed for future references.
