Abstract

The purpose of this bladeless light fan is design to overcome the weakness and problem of the existing ceiling fans in general market. In order to overcome the existing ceiling fan problem, there are some latest concept have been introduced into the design of the bladeless light fan to provide safety, small size, light weight and so on. This bladeless light fan is using the centrifugal blower motor to produce a very large quantity of air flow. After that the air flow will going through the air chamber and the pressure of the air flow will increase. After this, the air flow will coming out through the outlet of the fan casing which have been fabricate to a very small slot shape in order to double increase the pressure of the air flow, so that it can be blow out for long distance. Besides this, there are two process will be created by the high pressure of air flow which is called as the inducement and entrainment process, where the surrounding air flow that under low pressure will absorb by the high pressure of air flow and begin to flow in the direction with the air flow produce by the fan. The advantage of this bladeless light fan is it is safety where the blade is not exposure as existing ceiling fan. Besides that, it also consists of LED Light with remote controller to provide better lightness and also energy saves. Furthermore, the size and the weight of fan are small and light heavy so it can save space and easy to fix in any places. Lastly, this prototype is easy to control, low cost and efficiency. Overall, in the conclusion, this bladeless light ceiling fan is very useful and convenience. However, the result of efficiency of this prototype is not up to author expected, but there is a high possibility for further improvement.
