The aim of this project is to design and fabrication an automated pancake baking machine. The objective of this project is this machine is able to effective food processing system by using systematic and mechanization system if compared with traditional technique. Apart from that, increase the food productivity and maintains a consistent level of quality to the product by using modern mechanism. Firstly, the research has been done in advance in order to get a concept of fabrication an automated pancake baking machine. In addition, the research on the raw material and component for the baking machine was also being carried out to get familiar in the raw materials and component available. In order to achieve our objective, the project has been separated into three parts which are design part, fabrication part and programming part. In the design part, the Solid Works software is use to generate the 3D design. For the fabrication part, the whole prototype has to fabricate and assembly out to build up baking machine. For the programming part, the whole baking machine is controlled by Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). The ladder diagram is the PLC program used to program the whole movement of the pancake baking machine.
