Abstract

A bubble tea is a famous drink since it is created by a Taiwanese since 1990's. When the first bubble tea made and showed out in the market, the bubble tea had already impact the market of drinks' maker. In few years later the bubble tea culture had already spread through a few Asia countries, there are Republic of China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, and then Malaysia. The making of bubble tea is just simple using a hand by pouring the favour powder and then pouring cold water and the last will be the bubble. This three things mix together had already carry out the most popular drink with fantastic taste. In this project, author had created a creative idea which is designing and fabricating a bubble tea machine by implementing automation into the making of bubble tea in order to bring the way of making bubble tea to be automated. This creative idea is actually replace the traditional method. In fact, there are a few factors has under consideration, there are how hygiene between traditional method and new method and how consistency quality of bubble by a traditional method and new method. From the research, author found that there is not so hygiene by traditional method and the quality of the bubble tea is not so consistent. Throughout this project, author will explain how it works and how it done. Besides that author wants to show that how useful of the Programmable Logical Control (PLC), and then how do PLC automate the process of making bubble tea. At last, author believes that automated bubble tea machine will bring a big surprise to the market, no matter who is the first inventor of this machine.
