Abstract

This project is to modify one of the processes in the factory of Everyday Brush Industries (M) SdnBhd, which is initially operated by three work stations and seven operators. At first, the design is done by using SolidWorks Software. After the design, the fabrication of an Automated Bending Machine for Everyday Brush Industries (M) SdnBhd is conducted. The Automated Bending Machine is fabricated for the work piece for named Bristle Brush (Black), code 19374-01-02. The main objective to fabricate the machine is to increase the production rate, decrease the operating times, decrease the defection and also cut cost. After the fabrication of the machine, the PLC is installing into the control panel box and the programming of the PLC is save inside the PLC. After the PLC, HMI is also be used to make operator easily to record the daily production. Lastly, the testing of the machine is also conduct to test the reject rate of the machine and the result is satisfaction due to zero defects.
