Abstract

The main objective of this project is providing a system that can control other slave system and let user to control things by phone and through internet. Nowadays, Internet of thing is very popular in the world and everything can connect to internet, For example, television, fridge, light, door and many others. And all of this is an individual, if a user wants to control all the things, he needs to communicate one by one. In this project, it can provide a platform that user can control all the things that connected to this system by using the app. This project basically is sending out command from phone app to main controller through internet. For example, when user wants to open lights in room 1. He just need to choose room 1 in the app and it will send out data to the main controller that are connected to internet. Then, the main controller will send out specific data or command to the system that turn the light on. This final year project mainly includes few components, which are a microcontroller (ESP8266) and a phone (phone app). ESP8266 will be the main controller which sending out signal to slave system and the phone application will be sending out command to the main controller. Besides, the microcontroller can be powered up by USB or by giving voltage to the voltage input pin. The microcontroller is used to connect to internet and sends out specific data or command and the phone is used as user interface for user.
