Abstract

OKU E-marketplace is one of the unique online system we have ever created. Unlike several ecommerce platforms can be found in the existing market, we are targeting a specific group of users which includes, disabled people, large OKU organisation, orphanage and single parents. The aim of the system to ease trading for the people with disabilities with special talents to sell their handmade crafts and provide services to others. The system is mainly served the users in need of a platform to allow ease of selling and trading of crafted goods and services to the oku people. The organization can oversees a group of oku peoples that is registered under them, user can manage their own e-store info, and user can access and view their items selling, services providing, and event organized by the seller. Besides that, the system has been done by using Laravel Framework with PHP programming language and XAMPP to manage the data. Three-tier programming approach which are Data Access Layer (Model), Business Logic Layer (Control) and Presentation Layer (View) have been apply during developing of the system. As PHP has becoming a popular choice programming language, it allows programmers to learn easily and manipulate for future improvements.
