Abstract

Infectious Run is a project aimed to raise awareness about personal hygiene. People nowadays tend to ignore personal hygiene and this causes outburst of minor sickness which can be easily prevented. One must the simplest way of maintaining clean hygiene is to constantly clean your hands. This project aims to convey this message to the general population. The method of conveying the message is through a game. More specifically, an endless runner game. This genre can attract players due to its popularity as a genre. The method of learning is through subconscious learning. The player will enjoy the game but what the lesson in the game is aligned to their interest so they unintentionally learn at the same time. The game is developed with Unity 3D as it is easy to use and free. The final product of this project was a successful game. The game meets all its basic requirement of an endless runner which includes random tile generation. Randomness can increase a lifespan of a game. However, the game wasn’t so optimized so there will be some stutter here and there.
