Abstract

It can be believed that Disney animated movies have accompanied the childhood of the majority of people. However, research has shown that Disney movies has contain gender stereotype. Therefore, in this research it will compare the Golden Age era Disney with Independent era Disney movies in order to insight how Disney has influenced Malaysian’s perception towards gender issues. On the other, in this fast changing era, a few research has prove that Disney has evolved the gender stereotype change over time. Therefore, researcher would like to look into do Malaysia society maintain their perception in traditional or non-traditional. Besides that, this research will mainly focus on youth who are between 18-30. Moreover, this research will be conducted in quantitative approach to measure the respondents view through Google Form.
