Abstract

In this research paper, the research will investigate expectation of Malaysian young adults on stop motion animation films: A Case Study on Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon. It is to study the expectations of Malaysian young adults towards stop motion animation films because of there are more and more genre of films were produced worldwide. The research objectives are to study the expectations of Malaysian young adults towards stop motion animation films, the factors that influence their expectations, and their consumption behaviours towards stop motion animation films. Furthermore, this research had used the method of online survey and 226 respondents have participated in the survey in order to gather the results and conclude them. Hence, it will help Malaysia’s film industry to have more understanding of the audiences towards what elements or subjects that may attract the audience’s favour.
