Abstract

In these highly competitive marketing trends, the e-procurement system is the most important impact of all the time that needs to be considered by a company in order to minimize the organization’s expenditure and maximize the profit. The main objective of this project is to develop a platform that helps to facilitate the procurement between organizations and its suppliers in terms of the ease of administration, long-term cost savings, easier monitoring of spending, and greater control of organization-wide spending. The project scopes that will be included in this project are supplier sourcing management, supplier management, identify purchase need, administration, PO management and reporting. In the project scope, purchasing employees can use the system to filter out the potential vendors then invite them to become our vendor or sign contract with them. Besides, they can use this system to create PR, Quotation and PO to purchase items from suppliers. Furthermore, admin staff can use this system to generate reports and monitor and maintain the performance and efficiency of the system. Methodology that will be used in this project is System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) which starts from collecting all information and requirements needed and ends with testing. Tools used throughout the project are Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Netbeans IDE, Draw.io, etc. Before launching this system, several tests have been gone through such as unit test, integration test and system testing in order to ensure that the system meets all the functional and non-functional requirements.
