Abstract

In this project report, we estimate the covid-19 survival rate using Kaplan-Meier method based on age, gender, time onset and time discharged and compare it against bayes classification. The report consists of six chapters. A brief introduction of the study including the background and definition of the terms, objectives and scope is discussed in chapter 1. The review of recent studies about the analysis methods related to Covid-19 data is discussed in Chapter 2. In Chapter 3, the methodologies of the study are given, including the data source, analysis software, statistical tests, and classification method. The main results of Kaplan-Meier survival analysis and Bayes classifications will be presented and discussed in Chapter 4. Overall summary of findings and comparison between Kaplan-Meier survival analysis and Bayes classifications is presented in Chapter 5. Some future works and suggestions for improvement are discussed at the end of the study.
