Abstract

The title of my final year project is “Electrical devices controlled by using Speech Recognition”. The emergence of high voltage factory to fulfill the fast growing pace of this modern society has caused many workers working in high voltage factory to be involved in accidents. The new and fresh technology, speech recognition can help to improve the operating system in a power factory compared to the operating system which is not using speech recognition. Many aspects of the operating systems can be improved including the efficiency, accessibility, casualties and many more. Speech recognition, which is different from the existing operating system of a high voltage factory, needs to access workers’ voices to store into the database for future comparison purpose. Accuracy on determining the speeches and voices will be prioritized. The definition and features of speech recognition in high voltage factory are presented. Furthermore, a summary technical system and future potential research of speech recognition from an academic and industrial viewpoint is presented.
