Abstract

This research project, titled "Fortifying Corporate Governance: Formulating a Holistic Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABAC) Policies for a Malaysian-Based Company," seeks to enhance corporate governance by developing comprehensive AML and ABAC policies tailored for Ideasolve Consulting Sdn. Bhd. The study involves extensive collaboration with key stakeholders—directors, employees, and clients—to assess the organization's current compliance practices and identify areas for improvement. Guided by Carroll's Pyramid of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) theory, the research emphasizes the importance of ethical business conduct, transparency, and robust risk management. Through qualitative interviews and thematic analysis, this research identifies critical gaps in Ideasolve's existing policies and proposes actionable frameworks to address AML and ABAC concerns. The study also considers regulatory obligations under Malaysian and international guidelines, such as AMLA 2001 and Section 17A of the MACC Act, ensuring the recommendations align with legal requirements. This research concludes by emphasizing the importance of these policies in enhancing corporate governance, protecting the organization's integrity, reputation, and operations while offering a roadmap for continuous improvement
