Abstract

This study utilised positive interactions between teachers and children to analyse its impact on the emotional development of children. It aims to find how growing children are protected emotionally, how this aids in their confidence, a positive self-image, and better control of emotions and social behavior. A qualitative case study approach was used, with interviews conducted with six preschool educators. The results indicate constructive teacher-student relationships not only emotional development, but also children’s learning, classroom participation, and overall well- being. The development of some emotional security and safe, trustful environment in the classroom greatly assists children in coping with their emotions, developing socially, and in overcoming social and educational challenges.
