Abstract

Dogs need to be fed at the same times and precise quantities by most busy owners, which is hard. Irregular feeding can cause health issues such as obesity or malnourishment. Commercial automatic feeders exist, but they are none of them accurate, convenient, or remotely controlled. This project presents a Smart Dog Food Dispenser that integrates software and hardware to make feeding easier and more precise. It is measured in portions using a load cell sensor and delivered accurately using a motorized dispensing system controlled by a microcontroller. Users also get a mobile app with which they can program feeds, assign portion sizes, and remotely control the dispenser using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. It shall be created to provide a streamlined and effective pet care system that enhances feeding management even when the owners are away. Testing shall be based on accuracy, consistency, and functionality of the prototype.
