Abstract

Development a wireless controlled robot base is a project to develop a robot base that is able to be controlled by user via wireless technology such as Bluetooth device. The robot base should be able to give visual feedback to the user through a personal computer (PC) when the robot base is communicating with PC via Bluetooth device. The stable and better communication range of wireless technology had been very popular ever since its introduction and had replaced the RS-232 cables to eliminate the use of serial communications and messy wires as well. The project's main objective is to study by accepting user input commands and sent to the computer vision image to the PC as a serial communication port between the wireless technologies. For the development phase of each project are discussed in this report.
