Abstract

This project is aim to produce a prototype of baby hammock control device that is able to maintain the condition of the hammock to lies in a condition of 0.55Hz frequency and has an amplitude of 60 mm. Researches has been carried out by previous researchers and has proven that the recent hammock has created a noise to the infants in the hammock that has put the baby under an uncomfortable condition where the rocking vibration value has cause the Whole Body Vibration to exceed the Exposure Action Value (EAV). The non-preferable rocking condition may affect the sleeping quality of baby and also affected the development of their body. Hence, the prototype has been designed and its objective is to make the hammock rocking condition lies in the desirable frequency (0.55Hz) and amplitude (60mm) with the implementation of mechanical design and electrical operation
