Abstract

This project is to reducing the hydraulic jumps in flow along channel of various steep angles. The main purpose of this project is to determine the effect of the manipulate variables to the hydraulic jumps along a flow. The effect of constant initial height as manipulated variable to the Froude number and final height Y2 will be observed. The effect of constant initial velocity VI to the Froude number and final height Y2 also will be observed. In order to obtain the observation, a C-H- programming had been written to calculate the Froude number and the final height. At the same time, the result showed by the programming had been recorded in the table.
