Abstract

The Improvements on laptop are actually placed on the one thing that is overlooked by consumers: the laptop chassis. Getting a specific laptop model is a first step as a benchmark for improvements. Information can be obtained by researching into the market feedbacks. Complaints from customers can indicate what may be the problems that always occurred to customers. Complaints that have the most weight will be noted and with enough data, a specific laptop will be indentified to be act as a benchmark for thorough analysis. Analysis done will become a source for further improvements. For each weakness, improvements will be made and a newly design chassis model will be designed. The newly designed chassis should be able to have many improvements compare to the benchmark model, and this will be the contribution for the society.
