Abstract

This project is to fabricate of automated bubble tea machine. The main objective of this project is to fabricate an automatic bubble tea machine which has hygienic process, to maintain the quality of product and to replace the traditional way of making bubble tea. In order to design and fabricate this automated bubble tea machine, research from internet, reference books are carried out. During fabrication process, there are some important factors such as financial constrain, lack of technical skill and knowledge were taken into consideration. This prototype consists three main parts; there are mechanical parts, electronic parts and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming. Mechanical parts are used more on to build the base frame structure and filling frame structure. For electronic parts, it consists of motor, sensors and valves. In the PLC programming it controls all the action in this prototype. Testing of the prototype is carried out after finished the assembly and the wiring is connecting to the power supply and PLC. In this process, author need to do troubleshooting and modification of the PLC. As a conclusion, the automated bubble tea machine was performed well as author expect. There are some limitations such as time, financial and technical skill during the fabrication of this prototype. Therefore, there still have some improvement and modification in the design that can be done in future.
