Abstract

In this project dissertation, the objective is to modify a company bending process line to reduce defection, increase productivity of the process. At the beginning of project, meeting was conduct with supervisor, company workshop manager. The problem statement was analysis and research about the bending machine was done after the meeting. After the design of machine and pneumatic was completed, meeting with supplier to do the ordering of machine material. After that, fabrication was started. Fabrication of machine was conducted at Everyday Brush (M) Sdn Bhd. PLC and HMI programming design started during the fabrication of machine. After fabrication of machine and programming was done, wiring design and connection of electrical part will be start. The machine can be control with HMI touch screen panel and buttons along with pneumatic component. This machine will be operated by a operator and a worker responsible for quality control. The machine was tested for three weeks in the company. After the three week tested, the objective of the project dissertation was fulfilled which mean the problem of previous bending line can be solved by new machine.
