Abstract

Seaplane unlike commercial airplane provides landing ability on water which brings convenience to travel to rural area surrounded by lake. It is also able to transport food or clean water supply to certain area that are more convenient to be accessed by the waterway. However, seaplane tends to undergo porpoising or skipping effect upon landing if pitch angle between the seaplane floats and water surface did not maintain between the suitable angles. Hence, the stability of seaplane will be affected upon landing especially when the water is in rough condition. Simulation of flying seaplane was done by using Phoneix RC simulator through video recording where necessary parts are taken a screenshot to obtain the result. Results obtained were then applied into a programming code with related formula inserted. Graphs were then plotted to show the accuracy of the results obtained.
