Abstract

Plastering is the plasterwork which is known as ornamentation done by plasterers on walls by manually in most parts of the world. The plasterwork needs more effort of humans and also consumes more time in manual process. This is an intention to implement an innovative process with a development of “Cement Plastering Machine”. The objective of this project is going to design a “Pumping Unit of Cement Plastering Machine” that can continuously supply the cement into the “Plastering Unit of Cement Plastering Machine” with properly and combine with the plastering unit to become cement plastering machine. This project is aim to increase the efficiency of plastering work and shorter the time for plastering. Other than that, it may reducing the human work of plastering since the existing machine of market needed supply the cement into the plastering machine by the worker. This project is all considered for more feasible, light weight, inexpensive and simple structure comparing to the existing machine. Besides that, this project also can save a lot of cost for machine maintenance and bring more benefits for building industry. After the design and fabrication of pumping unit is completed, the pumping unit is combined with the plastering unit to become a cement plastering machine. The prototype is tested and finds out the error of the prototype. Some of the modification is made after identifying the errors that occurred during the test run of the prototype. Finally, all the objectives of this objective is met and the prototype fabricated is functioning without any error occurring. Since the prototype of cement plastering machine is success, all of the workers on building industry would be able to use cement plastering machine to reduce human work and time on plastering process.
