Abstract

My project title is loose fruit collector for the palm oil industry. Design and fabricating the loose fruit collector is a conceptual understanding of the method to collect the loose fruit in easier way which is not provided in lectures or tutorial room due to the fact that it is advance knowledge in this field. The aim of our final year project is to design and fabrication a prototype of loose fruit collector for the palm oil industry. The design of loose fruits collector is purely new and the material that is strong and could withstand the weight and the vibration of moving parts of the loose fruit collector. The simulation tests have been done to ensure the loose fruit collector has met the objective stated. As this is a group project, this report will be more detail on the simulation and costing of the loose fruit collector. There are few advantages of loose fruit collector such as increase palm oil quality and reduce back pain of the labour which due to the bending to hand pick the loose fruit. Furthermore, it also can separate the loose fruit from debris. We strongly believe that our product will be able to complete and compete with the existing product.
