Abstract

On the topic of Reference Architectural Model Industry 4.0 (RAMI 4.0) toward the accomplishment of a Digital Twin system for future production systems. In order to interconnect between all the hierarchy levels of RAMI 4.0, fundamentals have to be built in each of every levels. Simulation would be the fundamental of the Digital Twin technology. A lot of simulation software provides solution to this technology. By venturing into the simulation software, the limitations and advantages of the software can be concluded and decides which is the suitable one. Time study is done on both physical production line and simulation in order to collect the results. By using the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), the significant between the result of physical production line and the result from simulation are calculated for validation purpose. The result of a simulation model can only be ultilize when it’s operating and output behavior is highly similar to it’s physical model. By using the result of validated simulation line, the overall equipment efficiency (OEE) can be computed. This project will be the fundamental for the building of Digital Twin model in the future and many recommendations and works can be done in the future.
