Abstract
The electric hammer drill is a mechanism tool which frequently utilize in the construction site. The construction workers utilize the electric hammer drill with the long period time and it will expose hand transmitted vibration to the worker. If the worker endure excessive hand transmitted vibration it will expose a symptom which is Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS). The HAVS can cause adverse health effect which are vibration white finger (VWF) and carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). So, the suppression of electric hammer drill vibration is significant to induce a healthy body. The most effective way to reduce the hand transmitted vibration (HTV) is use dynamic vibration absorber (DVA). By using this method of DVA, the vibration can be reduced 57.72%. Not only that, the new worker are inexperienced, they might continue drilling even though they are drilling the main support structure metal within concrete. In order to avoid the new worker damage the main support structure metal within concrete the vibration analysis of drilling different materials is necessary. The vibration analysis of drilling different materials which is use in the research such as steel, aluminium and concrete. The harmonic frequency of drilling steel, aluminium and concrete which is 49.54Hz, 46.20Hz and 44.30Hz.
