Abstract

Intercooler is an equipment could be found in many sectors such as industrial, automobile or in our daily life tools. It is often used in automobile sector as it is relatively small and effective for the turbocharged engine of the car. However, there is absence of standard datasheet of intercooler to guide the manufacturer design and decide the intercooler during the engineering design. This proposal details the methodology of obtaining the heat transfer efficiency of various types of intercooler and the methods of cooling. These methods from the methodology are based on the theory calculation and simulation from Solidworks.
