Abstract

In this project, the HVAC system is very crucial because it will bring the ventilation for the building. This project is allocate in Seremban, Malaysia. To getting the layout of building in real project, to collect the specification and the detail of the building. Draw the architecture structure in the Revit software which is follow the actual dimension of the building layout with the input parameter of setting. Besides that, the cooling load can be analyzed in the Revit software. Therefore, use the value of the Revit software compare with the theoretical calculation. The method of theoretical calculation is use CLTD method to calculate. To collect the specification of the building, get the weather report to design outdoor dry-bulb and wet-bulb design. To calculate the CLTD correction, the cooling load from wall, roof, windows, people, light, Infiltration Air, and so on. Get the final peak cooling load to compare with the Revit software generated result. The HVAC system was designed for this building. HVAC normally consist of ducting system, and ducting system will be used in this project. The component of the ducting system have duct, Variable Air Volume (VAV), air handling unit(AHU), supply diffuser, and return diffuser. The Revit software was used for this design section. The size of the diffuser was fixed but sizing of the ducting can been change during designing duct system.
