Abstract

Most of the time in heavy industry produced a lot of different parts, for example toys manufacturer and bolt and nut manufacture. All the parts they produce are mix together. In this project Design and Fabricate Pick and Place Machine with Separation function is described. A fully automated system is developed for the purpose of pick and place material together with separation parts. The main components for the project consist of conveyor, an end effectors with vacuum suction nozzle is to grip a material and cylinder valves is to move the vacuum suction nozzle from a positions to another position automated with the control of PLC programming The supporting structure for the pick and place machine using aluminum, woods and L-bar with hold has also been designed based on the limitation and consideration made for milling machine. The designed was done with out-sourced development and hardware procurement or fabrication. The operation is tested during control process by using Programmable Logic Controller. A completed model of pick and place machine with automated separation is developed and testing result is obtained.
