Abstract

The objective of project is to design an automated washing line for a cup that is not so complicated and faster compare with hand wash. The three main objectives of the design are to cut cost of human resources, save time, avoid effects by detergent to hand. In this project, it can divide it to two processes: (l) Engineering Design and (2) Engineering fabricate. Engineering Design is the process of converting an idea or market into detailed information. Engineering fabricate is the process of converting the detailed information into physical components and assembling these components into physical a product or system. To carry the two processes, it needs a lot of knowledge on the conveyor, sensor, motor and all the use of the materials. Thus, research and literature review have to carry out before start in order to have a clear mind set of what people had done and currently a researcher will have a clearer direction what he has to do in his project to reduce the cons of the pass project and keep the pros in his project. Testing is carried out by the author after the author finished the fabrication process. From the result of testing, it is prove that the design is working in properly condition. Finally, the automated cups washer was performed well and author has done some finishing making the prototype looks nicely. The author believes that, this automated cups washer is a new concept and applicable in future time. Although it is a lot of limitations need to solve by further improve n the design and fabrication process.
