Abstract

This project is about a new concept of wind turbine, this will be a high altitude wind turbine build by helium balloon and having a larger area to receive the wind and convert to electricity by using generator. The advantages of this type of wind turbine will be easy to carry from one place to another place. Other that, the high altitude wind speed will higher than low altitude wind speed, it will having a stronger wind to generate electricity. From the concept of generator, the higher the rotating speed will have a faster speed to cut the magnetic field. These mean the higher the wind speed, higher the electricity generates. The main purpose to design Air Rotor System because for same place is emergency required electric supply. Other that, when Air Rotor System is successful design with a low cost and high efficiency, it can be use for same places is required a high cost to transfer the electricity. For example, island. This project is try to provide the concept of wind turbine using at the high altitude is probability success, it may having a further research and design about this topic. This title will be the further of earth since the coal and petroleum is not enough for long time to use. This project is tried to design, fabricate and test the design is possible to work for the structure of wind turbine. This project is success prove the design is possible work by using wind and it will have a better performance with a more completed fabrication.
