Abstract

In this project, the 4.2m airship was modified to comply limited outdoor purposes, which previously it only can be used for indoor purposes. During the modification, the thrust vector system of the airship will be fabricated and the flight control of the airship will be designed. So, a gondola needs to be designed to fit the propulsion system which consists of motors, servo motors, speed controllers and receiver. In order to control the stability and sustainability of airship in various environments, tails fins are needed on the airship. Rudder, elevator and vector thrust allow airship to corp with those environments. At last, the airship will be have a flight testing and evaluation in order to determine the problems encounter and characteristics of the airship during the real flight.
