Abstract

The purpose of Integrated Spray Painting Conveyor System is design to reduce the cost and improve the efficiency of the current automated spray painting machine. The objective of this project is to design and fabricate an Integrated Painting Conveyor System and to install and commission various types of tools and equipments that suit the requirement of the Integrated Painting Conveyor System. Firstly, the research has been done in advance in order to get a concept of the Integrated Spray Painting Conveyor System. Besides that, the research on the raw material and components for the Integrated Spray Painting Conveyor System was also being carried out to get familiar in the raw materials and components available. The system can replace the current spray painting system; it not just lower cost but integrated as All-in-I system which contains processes of cleaning, drying, spray painting and heating. There are few type of design had been drawn by manual and SolidWorks and also being compared for the best design of the Integrated Painting Conveyor System. During the selections of materials, several reasons need to be considered such as cost, availability and the mechanical properties of the materials. To done this project, the conceptual design have been fabricate to a prototype. However, there is still a long way to go into producing a truly effectively outcome. Hence, the author is inspired to label more time and effort into research and studies to develop a breakthrough and improve the prototype further.
